前幾天看到許多美國🇺🇸氣象主播朋友講五月二日是美國氣象頻道38 歲生日，許多熱愛天氣的現役氣象人，小時候不是看卡通，而是緊盯氣象頻道，看美國各縣市、各州、全美或全球的預測，這也帶動美國的科學觀普遍較普及，大眾媒體也重視氣象。今天也分享給中大的同學，也沒想到會後有幾位眼睛發亮同學來問我問題。
我是小時候住在氣象站旁過，我也記得師大洪致文老師是受馮鵬年報天氣啟發，有沒有氣象人小時候被啟發的故事可以分享？

WOW !! It was 38 years ago ... On May 2, 1982, The Weather Channel went on the air to the nation ... A 24 hour a day 7 day a week Cable TV Channel dedicated to weather ...
The pundits called it "folly" ... dark skies... and that we would never make it... We almost didn't after the 1st year but that's another story ...
The first show began on that evening... The "ceremonial" switch was turned on at the National Cable TV Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. TWC founder John Coleman (of Good Morning America fame) was with us at TWC headquarters in Atlanta... Andre Bernier and Bruce Edwards anchored the first show.
Several years ago, a Facebook group called "Weather Channel Pioneers" was formed ... All employees that came to us in the first 5 years were invited to join... We got together for a 30th-anniversary celebration here in the Atlanta area in 2012.
I was privileged to be with TWC from the first day.

There are only two ways that believers can come under a curse:
1) By putting themselves under the Law, they are subjecting themselves to the curse of the Law.
2) By preaching any other gospel than the gospel of grace, they are putting themselves under the double curse as proclaimed by the Apostle Paul.

“Like the sparrow in her wandering, like the swallow in her flying, So the curse without cause does not come and alight [on the undeserving].” (‭‭PROVERBS‬ ‭26:2‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

We are taught not to reprimand a scoffer, but we must correct a fool for our sakes, so that we won’t be like fools as well.

“Do not answer [nor pretend to agree with the frivolous comments of] a [closed-minded] fool according to his folly, Otherwise you, even you, will be like him. Answer [and correct the erroneous concepts of] a fool according to his folly, Otherwise he will be wise in his own eyes [if he thinks you agree with him].” ‭‭(PROVERBS‬ ‭26:4-5‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

When God gives you a creative business or work idea, act on it as soon as you can.
If not, procrastination and laziness will cause us to lose out on these God-given opportunities.

“The lazy person buries his hand in the dish [losing opportunity after opportunity]; It wearies him to bring it back to his mouth.” (PROVERBS‬ ‭26:15‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

It is foolish to self-righteously meddle in a dispute that is none of our business.
Just pray for them that the conflict will be resolved peacefully.
Let God settle the problem because He can definitely do a better job than us.

“Like one who grabs a dog by the ears [and is likely to be bitten] Is he who, passing by, stops to meddle with a dispute that is none of his business.” ‭‭(PROVERBS‬ ‭26:17‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

In this hiking vlog I hike to hidden forts found in the beautiful hills of Dover!

I started my hiking adventure by hiking along the beautiful coastline at Botany Bay, Kent. Here I hiked to Kingsgate Bay Sea Arch and to the hidden gem folly called Neptune's Tower. After this I explored the impressive Reculver Towers and Roman Fort in Kent. Next I hiked around Dover Castle and Western Heights Of Dover. At Western Heights Of Dover I explored a bunch of secret forts and abandoned military buildings including; Drop Redoubt Fort, St Martin's Battery and Detached Bastion.

I did this hike as part of my training for the Lejog. In June I will be walking the length of the UK for the mental health charity mind.
