Taking its cues from Monsieur Dior's lucky star and the wind rose motifs that decorated his childhood house and garden, the 'Rose des Vents' jewelry collection on.dior.com/rose-des-vents by Victoire de Castellane is captured for a Dior Magazine 34 editorial by Julia Noni. Highlighting the impact of the eight-pointed gold stars against colorful ornamental stones on grain-edged medallions – many of which are reversible – the varying styles of necklaces, chokers, rings, bracelets and earrings also include some examples of 'Rose Céleste', an extension of the collection featuring astronomical emblems.
Pared down and pure, these timepiece and jewelry creations by Victoire de Castellane convey a sense of indefectible design. A 'La D de Dior Satine' watch and its 'Mini' counterparts on.dior.com/la-d-de-dior stand apart through their decorative stone dials, from tiger's eye to pink mother-of-pearl, and are united by a Milanese mesh bracelet, sinuous as a silk ribbon. The 'Rose des Vents' collection on.dior.com/rosedesvents takes a simple charm medallion inspired by a symbolic wind rose and, utilizing precious metals, minerals and diamonds, produces an extraordinary breadth of precious pieces to collect and personalize.
