[玄天上帝]
玄天上帝為台灣常見的道教神明之一。玄天上帝是中國明朝的護國神明，也是中國武當山上的主神。他被視為北極星的化身，是屬於自然崇拜演變出來的神祇，也是統理北方的神明。北方在五行中屬水，所以也能管理海上的事務。北方代表星宿為玄武，玄武的形象為龜和蛇，正是玄上帝腳下所踩踏的生物。
另外在民間傳說中，玄天上帝原本是個屠夫，因為受到觀世音菩薩的指點，深覺自己因屠宰動物罪孽深重，所以切腹取出腸胃丟入河中洗滌自己的罪孽，因此而得道升天成為玄天上帝。但之後在河中的腸和胃分別變成龜精和蛇精，並在人間作亂，於是玄天上帝向呂洞賓借劍，收伏二精並踩踏於腳底。也因為這則民間傳說玄天上帝又被視為屠宰業的守護神。
關於這個傳說另外一種揣測是因為玄天上帝是明朝的守護神，清朝為了將玄天上帝信仰淡化所以才有了屠夫化身的說法。

[Xuántiān Shàngdì]
Xuántiān Shàngdì is one of the most commonly seen Taoist deities in Taiwan. Since the usurping Yongle Emperor of the Ming dynasty claimed to receive the divine assistance of Xuanwu during his successful Jingnan Campaign against his nephew, he had a number of Taoist monasteries constructed in the Wudang Mountains of Hubei, where Xuanwu allegedly attained immortality.
He is also treated as the metaphor of the North Star as the deity of natural worshipping. Great Deity of the Northern Peak, one of the cosmological "Five Forms of the Highest Deity"
As one of the five forms of cosmological representations, north significance water, therefore it makes Xuántiān Shàngdì capable of being in charge of sea affairs. Also, the representations of the north constellation happen to be the black tortoise or black turtle. As one of the Four Symbols of the Chinese constellations. It is usually depicted as a turtle entwined together with a snake, and these animals happen to be the ones Xuántiān Shàngdì is stepping on.
In folklore tail, Xuántiān Shàngdì was originally a butcher and the goddess Guanyin showed him his sins. To redeem his sins, he dug out his own stomach and intestines and washed them in the river. Because of that, he then became immortal ascended to heaven with the title of Xuántiān Shàngdì.
After he became an immortal, his stomach and intestines absorbed the essence of the earth. His viscera transformed into a demonic turtle and a demonic snake, who started to hurt people. No one could subdue the demonic animals. Eventually, Xuanwu returned to earth and he borrowed the sword from Lü Dongbin to subdue them. After defeating them, he later used them as his subordinates. Due to this folklore tail, Xuántiān Shàngdì is also treated as a patron god of slaughter industry.
Another speculation about this folklore tail is that because Xuántiān Shàngdì is the guardian god of Ming dynasty, and Ching dynasty wanted to weaken the gasp of the Xuántiān Shàngdì belief so had the story of the butcher transform made up.

【情債的因果】The Karma Behind Love Debts
偶爾夜深人靜時，我會想到以前見過的客人，不知他們看了命之後如何，有照做還是依然沒改本來的習性，現在在世界的各個角落不知過得好不好。
這位女子是我2020年6月通過Zoom視訊的海外客人。
兩個月前，她在我的Youtube影片下方留言，大方的說出了她的情傷經歷。

幾年前，有位曾經風靡一時的男歌手因老年患癌而逝世。
本來，他將會投胎成為一位美麗的女人。
一聽，是不是覺得當個美麗的女人是件很幸福的事？
在因果上，當女人業障是比較重的。美麗的背後，更有著環環相扣的因果業報。
給他投胎當個美麗的女人，是要他去還當男人時所欠的風流債。
「她」將會有很多的男朋友。每一個男朋友，「她」都得去償還前世所欠的情債。
這位男歌手生平也造了許多賭業，但他有一個優點，他非常相信草屯慈惠堂的瑤池金母。
而瑤池金母亦是我師尊相應的本尊，因此產生了這個很奇妙的因緣。
那一年，男歌手死沒多久，我師尊，蓮生活佛，在草屯雷藏寺主壇「不空羂索觀世音」的護摩（火供）超度大法會。
慈惠堂的瑤池金母帶著這位男歌手來到師尊的法座前。
男歌手灰色的魂魄伏拜在地，向師尊求超度。
於是，他的魂魄被帶到烈火之中，黑色的業氣被三昧真火燒得乾乾淨淨，清淨的往生佛國淨土了。
這故事收錄在我師尊文集第241冊《遇見本尊》一書當中，章名為「焚燒中的火中蓮」。
所以說，大家多讀些因果故事的書，智慧增長了，能幫助我們避開很多災害，省卻很多煩惱。

Sometimes in the still of the night, I will think of my past clients. I wonder how they are doing after our consultations. Did they follow my advice or are they still adamant in their ways? Are they leading a happier life, being in all parts of the world?

Few years ago, a once-famous male singer died due to cancer at old age.
He was supposed to be reincarnated as a beautiful woman in his next rebirth.
Sounds like a very fortunate thing to be reborn as a beautiful woman, isn’t it?
Fact is, it means the person has more negative karma to be reborn as a woman. There are very intricate karmic retribution links behind that face of beauty.
He was to take the form of a beautiful woman because he had to repay the debts of romance he incurred when he was a man.
“She” would have many boyfriends. And to each and every man, “she” would repay what “she” once owed.
This male singer also committed many gambling sins when he was alive. However, he has one virtue. He has strong faith in the Jade Pond Golden Mother, at Cao Tun Tsu Huei Temple.
And Golden Mother happens to be the principle deity that my Grandmaster has attained yogic union with. An incredible affinity thus unfolded.
That year, not long after the death of the male singer, my Grandmaster, Living Buddha Lian-Sheng, presided over the Amoghapasha Lokeshvara Fire Offering bardo deliverance ceremony, held at Taiwan Lei Tsang Temple in Cao Tun.
Jade Pond Golden Mother of Tsu Huei Temple lead the deceased male singer to the throne, where my Grandmaster sat.
The grey spirit of the male singer bowed on the ground, seeking deliverance from my Grandmaster.
Thus, his soul was brought into the raging flames. The black cloud of his negative karma was thoroughly burnt by the Samadhi fire. He was reborn in the Pureland, cleansed and purified.
This chapter was in my Grandmaster’s book 241 Sacred Encounters with Deities, named The Burning Lotus in The Fire
This is why I think it’s important that we read more books on karma stories. It will increase our wisdom and help us avoid many misfortunes and afflictions. You will think twice before giving in to temptations.
If you already know that your love life this lifetime is rather rocky, I suggest that you cultivate and dedicate merits to your karmic creditors. You can also register for bardo deliverance and do good deeds in their names.
When you fill up the form, you can write their name as the karmic creditors of XXX (your full name).
To repay in this life what we owe from last life is the unalterable principle of this world.
In repaying love debts, some people lose both their wealth and bodies, while others pay for it with their youth and families.
Through Dharma practices, we can resolve these karmic entanglements with repentance and merits.
But all must be done in time!
Kao Ling-feng was able to be liberated from Samsara, when he was in a bardo form, because of his strong faith in Jade Pond Golden Mother.
My client may have been scammed of her money, but she did not lose herself to the cheater, because she believes in the precepts laid down by Buddha. How fortunate is that!
When a person is willing to abide by one precept, there will be one God of Precepts to watch over him/her. When all five precepts are observed, the cultivator will have 5 Dharma Protectors protecting him/her. This will help avoid many possible disasters.
One must have faith to enter the great ocean of Dharma. The power of your faith can achieve countless merits and is the key to transforming your Destiny!

創始之王；障礙之王；賜福之神
也稱為：Ganapati
屬地：印度
象頭的象頭神可能是現代印度教萬神殿中最受歡迎的神靈；被數百萬尊敬。他也被佛教徒，耆那教徒和新異教徒援引。他對所有人都是仁慈和慷慨的。
創始之王，在創辦任何新企業之前，都要先尋求象頭神的祝福。
象頭神也是障礙之王，儘管有時也會引起憤怒，但有時只是為了吸引更多的崇敬，因此消除障礙但也創造了障礙。 Ganesha的另一面是，必須在新的冒險活動之前將他消氣，以免他在您的道路上放置障礙。

象神（梵語：गणेश，音譯葛內舍；梵文拉丁轉寫：Gaṇeśa）印度教中的智慧之神，主神濕婆與雪山神女的兒子，戰爭之神室建陀的兄弟。由於象頭神負責統領眾伽那（gaṇa，一群侍奉濕婆的、喜歡搞怪的小神），因此他又名群主（gaṇapati，意即伽那之主）。他的外形為斷去一邊象牙的象頭人身並長著四隻手臂，體色或紅或黃，坐騎是他的老友、一隻狡獪的老鼠。在各種雕繪中，他一般是盤坐著或是翹起其中一邊的膝蓋。
對象頭神的崇拜非常廣泛，不侷限於原始的印度教與更早的婆羅門教；早期在佛陀時代，印度北方已經盛行原始密教，後原始佛教結合密教，出現最早的密宗，其中更演化出各大神祇的不同於當地教派思想、與修行之法，尤其在中原隋唐左右初期，印度高僧紛紛傳法向東遠播至中原隋唐朝，以及東瀛日本，向北則是由印度高僧有第二佛陀之稱的蓮華生大士傳播至西藏。
後中原密教經過滅佛行動，如今佛教中只剩西藏與日本仍保有像頭神的祭祀與修行之法，而中國各寺廟已不復見。
在早期印度密教，和在婆羅門教不同的是，以佛教"出離"與"解脫"為主要思想主軸，但卻有各種術法，其義旨在於幫助修行人"方便"修行。象神在大藏經"佛經密乘部"記載多處，其威能與術法不可思議，其旨，以方便法幫助修行者得其所需，印度密教翻譯的佛經其名號在中文翻譯為 "大聖歡喜天"是為善神。
其起因是在久遠前象神曾向"密教祖師金剛薩埵"與"觀音菩薩"投誠皈依，發誓護持密教行者。後更與十一面觀音化身結為夫妻；其本尊法門被密宗的祖師集結，由印度早期發展而成完整的系列(後佛與密教因教義高深，不被當世接受，消失於印度史)，由印度高僧傳至唐朝(唐密)再傳至東瀛(成為東密)。後來唐朝政治因素而滅佛，中國的密宗信仰湮滅，象神信仰亦然。
但從佛經佛典當中，仍然記載許多法門以及其思想，尤其是《金剛薩埵說頻那夜迦天成就儀軌經》或《大聖歡喜雙身大自在天毘那夜迦王歸依唸誦供養法》等等。可見當時的印度密教的象神和原始婆羅門教以及至今的印度教，象神的信仰已有差別。《天神乘與佛乘之別》
其身有單身(二臂、四臂甚至多臂)，在平常期多以財神(單身)之姿護佑眾生，若在密教圓滿次地上，則現雙身像以教化之(另一身是觀音)。
其本尊乃王者身、善神，經典更記載:象神源始自"大日如來"，經雲《此聖尊自在天。即摩訶毘廬遮那如來。為饒益無福眾生。權化示現此像》；亦提到，此神有善身與惡身之別(乃深秘義旨)，本尊王身是善神，其亦化身邪神(常隨魔、障礙魔)以及驕傲的天神之姿，常被密宗金剛神(金剛薩埵、觀音菩薩、大日如來的化身)踩在腳下，象徵征服自我邪念、魔難、障礙的意思。
