The last few months haven’t been easy. Gone through a lot and felt pretty burnout from the entrepreneurial journey. But whenever things get tough and pieces may fall apart, there is one thing I do not allow to fall apart- the desire to keep working out.

So thankful to have the opportunity to compete in the mighty fit squad challenger with our Hongtai CrossFit squad. Even though we were placed 18 out of 24 teams 🤣😂, it was prob one of the best days I’ve had... in a while.

There’s just something therapeutic about working out, lifting and dropping heavy weights while screaming at the top of your lungs (and of course cheering for our teammates.) Although I’m paying for it this morning 🤣😂🤣, Im feeling alive.

It was also so awesome and inspiring to see the growing CrossFit community in Taiwan. There are some serious athletes man. You guys have fucking inspired me.

What a weekend, and I’m so glad and grateful that I had the opportunity to be a part of it along with my partner in crime in 高晴

Life is a struggle. But in these struggles we find meaning and continuous improvements.

Let’s keep getting better.

Wasn’t an athletes this time , being a judge has different angle and feeling to view this sports!! The only same is love this community, there are not need much reasons but enough !!
1- positive n motivated peoples around
2- passion and loving
3- they all understand the meaning and reason of suffer , but we are together to go through.

When it’s amber rain alert outside, and our friends from CrossFit Asphodel still gamely make it to practice with smiles, a little trepidation and a gorgeous newborn in tow. They still show up and do the work. Because that’s what badass people do.

CrossFit and yoga may seem like polar opposites. We believe they also compliment each other remarkably. Striking a balance between strength, mobility, flexibility, cardio and mindfulness. Plus the key action of pulling, which we are missing in traditional yoga! Both require focus, discipline, daily practice, commitment to form, and foster an incredibly inspiring community. Like Team Asphodel. It’s all in the attitude. Keep an open mind, never stop learning.

Here at The Practice Studio, we have stubbornly strong opinions on our practice and the meaning of yoga. We are also however open to learning the benefits of different movement practices, and enthused about teaching yoga to other communities. Crossover gains.

So inspired by the beasty team at CrossFit Asphodel. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you. Let’s just say their first try at Eka Pada Behkasana was in much better form than how we handled kettle bell swings at their beautiful gym last week. Looking forward to new ways of bringing the fruits of our practices together for our students and members. Hong Kong people live in a good environment, but don't think that everything you have is a must. The significance of travel is not just to enjoy food and live in a five-star hotel. The true meaning of travel is to breathe the local air, feel the environment, culture and meet local people. Don't forget to follow the country's customs and follow peace of mind.
