Beans, rice, yoghurt, nuts... these are all examples of incomplete proteins. Eaten in their pairs however, they form complete proteins.
Complete proteins are necessary because they contain all the essential amino acids our body needs.
More examples include:
- tofu with rice
- macaroni and cheese
- tacos with beans
The best part is you don't actually have to eat them together in a meal. You just have to consume them on the same day.
