Leon Russell was a gift to our planet. A one of a kind musician who we will all miss so much! Here is my tribute to the man. This version of A Song For You was done in my hotel room today on GeoShred for iPad with all backing tracks recorded with the CME XKey AIR keyboard and Logic on my mac. The iPad was recorded live to my iphone with a zoom mic. A little bit of emotional humming included!!

Hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day and Lantern Festival! Recently got my hands on this awesome new toy, the CME Xkey midi controller, super light, super slim, and just a generally handsome lookin keyboard. :D It's been good for me since I've lately become quite fond of working at coffee shops, over a nice hot cup of matcha latte, especially in this cold wet weather~ Speaking of cold weather, hope everyone stays warm and healthy! And now back to work...
