大部分的遊客都會租船游湖，不時會發生多船連撞的事件（不會翻船，但會像踫踫車般撞過不停）如想避開人潮，建議約十時泛舟出湖喔。

另外大部分的遊客會在Dominee Hylkemaweg下車，若要遠離人群，可以在Giethoorn Zuid站下車，由較為寧靜的羊角村南面向北走。

The length of Giethoorn is around 7km. If you don't have enough time, I would recommend you to focus on the northern and southern sides of Museum Giethoorn to take photos.

As many tourists would rent a boat, you may wish to travel at around 10 a.m. to avoid the crowd. The river will be so crowded in the afternoon that boats are crashing each other all the way (boats will not overthrown).

To avoid the crowd, you could get off at Giethoorn Zuid station and travelled from the tourist free southern side of Girthoorn to the northern side.
