League of Legends เตรียมทำการ Rework หนึ่งในระบบสำคัญของเกมอย่าง Cooldown Reduction (CDR) ให้กลายเป็น "Ability Haste" ค่าพลังที่จะให้ผู้เล่นร่ายสกิลได้บ่อยขึ้น ในระยะเวลาเท่าเดิม

โดยการปรับครั้งนี้ จะเกิดขึ้นใน Pre-season 11 ที่กำลังจะมาถึง โดยการปรับโครงสร้างของการลด Cooldown ของสกิลใหม่ จากการลดค่าเป็น % ให้เป็นการเพิ่มความเร็วแบบตายตัวเข้าไปแทน ซึ่งตรงนี้จะทำให้ผู้เล่นเข้าใจผลของการลดเวลานี้ได้ง่ายขึ้นกว่าเดิมพอสมควร

Riot Game ได้อธิบายไว้ใน Patch note ว่า หาก CDR 10% ทำให้ร่ายสกิลได้บ่อยขึ้น 11%, CDR 40% ทำให้ร่ายได้บ่อยขึ้น 66%, และ CDR 50% ทำให้ร่ายได้บ่อยขึ้น 100% หรือร่ายได้ถี่ขึ้น 2 เท่าแล้ว ในส่วนของ Ability Haste มันจะเป็นการเปรียบเทียบค่าเข้าไปตรง ๆ แทน ทำให้ทุกคนน่าจะเข้าใจทันทีว่ามันส่งผลมากแค่ไหน โดยไม่จำเป็นต้องคำนวนในหัวให้ยุ่งยากอีกต่อไป

ยกตัวอย่างเช่น หาก Ability Haste 10 ก็จะหมายถึง เราสามารถร่ายสกิลนั้นได้มากขึ้น 10%, Ability Haste 40 ก็จะร่ายได้มากขึ้น 40% แบบตรงตามตัวอักษรเช่นกัน และในการอัปเดตยังมาพร้อมกับการปลดลิมิตของ CDR ออกไป (จากเดิมที่ลดได้มากสุด 40%) ทำให้หลังจากนี้ เราอาจจะได้เห็นการลดเวลารอสกิลได้แบบ Haste 100 หรือก็คือสามารถร่ายได้ไว/ มากขึ้นเป็น 2 เท่านั่นเอง
