【第74屆坎城影展主競賽、一種注目等完整入選名單】

遭受COVID-19疫情影響，去年坎城影展停辦一年。今年展期則延至7月6日舉辦，大會在方才仍公開了本屆的官方選片。在主競賽單元部分，魏斯．安德森、阿斯哈．法哈蒂、歐容、南尼．莫瑞提、布魯諾．杜蒙、阿比查邦、那達夫．拉匹、濱口龍介、西恩．潘等名導之作都順利入選。

洪常秀、阿諾．戴普勒尚等名導則未如事前各界預料，沒有進入主競賽，被安排在「首映單元」。至於在「一種注目」部分，奧地利籍華裔導演陳熠霖的《尋找》順利入選，該片由台灣影星柯震東、林哲熹與中國演員曾美慧孜主演，拍攝地點即在台灣。作品《構築心方向 Columbus》（2017）曾來過台北電影節放映的韓裔美籍導演Kogonada也入選該單元。中國導演那嘉佐也以《街娃兒》入選。

本屆的評審團主席將是美國導演史派克．李（Spike Lee），開幕片將是李歐．卡霍的《Annette》，該片同時也是競賽片。美國影星茱蒂．佛斯特（Jodie Foster）則獲得相當於終身成就獎的榮譽金棕櫚殊榮。

『堅實的演員組合與良好的開場氣氛被原著傳乘的壓力壓跨，如果拋開原著陰影作為新驚悚犯罪劇來說不無可以一看的水平，可惜在種種不利因素下似乎看不見有光明的出路！ 』
◼故事
故事設定在 1993 年《沉默的羔羊》第一部事件發生後的一年，第一部女主角Clarice Starling(Rebecca Breeds)在事件後由FBI實習生變成總部犯罪行為心理學的一員，每天以工作隱藏連續殺人狂魔「野牛比爾」事件及「漢尼拔」的創傷後遺症當中，失眠、自我嫌惡與及種種對案件的恐怖回憶纏繞著她！
電影第一部女兒遭到野牛比爾綁架的參議員Ruth Martin成為司法部長，而新的連續殺人案的出迫得她要將Clarice拉到前線，強迫她加入特別犯罪小組追捕新的連續殺人魔....
■開季
Rebecca Breeds飾演電影由Jodie Foster主演的FBI探員Clarice Starling，Rebecca 在氣質與容貌上都與後者相似。Rebecca Breeds更特意跟隨Jodie Foster West Virginia口音演出。
配角方面以TWD的Michael Cudlitz及House 的Kal Penn較為人熟悉，而其他的演員群一起組成了堅實配角群。
撇開《沉默的羔羊》的陰影，開季有像Netflix劇集Mindhunter的懸疑與及追捕變態殺人犯的感覺。
而由電影第一部帶來的關系與發展都吸引，比如電影中Clarice與其他男性主導的FBI探員格格不入的關系、由野牛比爾手中救出的少女Catherine對Clarice病態般的依賴等都算某程度上繼承《沉默的羔羊》的設定與情緒。
可惜新的“凶手”在故事現身後，劇情就馬上走向犯罪劇公式與政治正確設定，而且劇情充滿漏洞，讓人不能與《沉默的羔羊》緊密深沉的故事聯系上，後段更可以用馬虎與沉悶來形容，著實可惜。
■難有期望
《沉默的羔羊》特色當然是讓人沉迷的角色關系，但新劇中卻暫時欠奉。劇中當然不會有Hannibal的出現，勉強要說上面提到Catherine對Clarice的畸情依賴可以歸類為相似元素，但可惜未能營造出足夠的吸引力。
而且劇本設定在電影第一與第二部的十年間，限制故事的發展對將來故事甚為影響。
大家最希望見到不同系列的其他電影及早前的《Hannibal漢尼拔》有聯系或相關演員出現吧？
但相信機會甚微！因為今次改編的版權只限小說，而早前《Hannibal漢尼拔》劇集的版權則在NBC手上，所以大家對今次CBS的新版《沉默的羔羊》外傳 Clarice不應有有太大期望。
