I am very upset today.
I’ve just touched down at KLIA this afternoon.
As I walked pass the customs, two airport security guards walked passed me and made sexually suggestive comments to me. They did so loud enough that I could reasonably believe the customs officers sitting at their booths nearby could hear it. Did they do anything? No.
This is unbelievable. I would not expect much from mere strangers, but the basic duty of security guards is to ensure the safety of the area, and these two men jeopardised this very trust on them completely.
Do I wish I had more guts to shout obscenities back at them at the time? Yes! Do I wish I made a report then and there? Yes! But I did not. I did not fight back. I did not even try to get their names. I could not muster the courage to do so. The only thing on my mind then was this feeling of uneasiness, so I walked away as fast as I could, staring at my feet all the way, pretending that I didn’t hear anything.
I bet thousands of women out there feel like this too: helpless. Maybe we try to coax ourselves by convincing ourselves that the ‘situation’ is not serious enough to warrant going through the trouble of making a report.
But is there anything we could do about this? Flip them off? Ignoring the catcall and moving on while wishing that I could beat the guy's ass is my usual tactic, but I begin to wonder about other women out there.

@jewelling then shared with me a video of how a girl who walked down the streets of Manhattan dealt with ‘street harassment and catcalling’. It’s a parody, but I’m going to share it in my stories because it made me laugh so hard. At least it made me feel instantly better after watching it. Silly as it may seem, it felt like justice was served by proxy.
I am sharing this because I don’t want the next girl to experience what I did, and if that also happened to ruin your day, I hope this video would make you feel better too.
And guys? Next time keep your cat calling to yourself. It does nothing other than making you look STUPID.

介紹兩個英文用法。
(一)catcalling
把「皇后區的國王」擊倒的民主黨新星Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez，主張社會主義，包含了健保公醫化、聯邦政府保證就業等政策主張，因為她上電視講了一大堆令人傻眼的話，如「失業率低，就是因為每個人都有兩份工作」等，而讓保守派磨刀霍霍，準備讓她大出糗。保守派的年輕評論家Ben Shapiro，邀她公開辯論，如果Ocasio-Cortez同意的話，Shapiro就捐款十萬美金給她的競選團隊。
結果Oacsio-Cortez在推特上回，「就像catcalling一樣, 我對有惡意的男人這些不請自來的要求，沒有義務回應。而且就像catcalling一樣，這些人不知道為什麼都覺得他們可以這樣做。」
catcalling就是指一堆男人，在路上對走過去的美女吹口哨，並進行言語的騷擾。
不說還好，推特一出，Ocasio-Cortez又被右派圍勦，誰有惡意幫人戴帽子，非常明顯。但當然，左派出來幫Ocasio-Cortez打仗的也不少。就有個傢伙說，這些隨便邀人辯論的人，太誇張，「不然我出同樣一萬美金，要求和參議員Ted Cruz辯論」，可以嗎?
結果，Ted Cruz霸氣的在推特回應，Stop catcalling me.
簡單三個字，道盡Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez的荒謬。
(二)short shorts
英文的股票賣空叫short stocks，short既是動詞，也是名詞。作為名詞，short還有一個意思，叫短褲。
Elon Musk的Tesla是全美被賣空最多的股票，很多大避險基金，都在和Musk對著幹。有個有名的傢伙叫David Einhorn，本來基金做很大，但今年吃了不少虧損，讓投資人不滿，他很大的賠錢部位，就是賣空Tesla。最近他在給投資人的季報裡，繼續痛批Tesla，並且透露他要把座騎，一台Tesla Model S的租約給停了，說是問題太多了。
Musk在推特上回應，「悲劇。會寄給Einhorn一箱short shorts，撫慰他渡過這段困難的時期。」這箱小短褲，最後給內褲公司逮到機會，不請自來的代Musk送到Einhorn手上。
而Musk宣佈，Tesla將賣小短褲紀念商品。真令人好奇地想買呀。
