Kebetulan lampu merah. Saya berhenti bersebelahan dengan dia. Saya turunkan tingkap dan tanya "Bang, besar teddy bear tu. Nak bawa ke mana tu?"
Dia angkat tunjuk dekat saya. Dia buka pelitup muka dan dia cakap " Ya bang. Ini saya jumpa waktu kerja tadi. Dekat tempat sampah ada orang buang, saya ambil bang"
Saya tanya lagi "Tu nak bawa balik bagi anak ke?"
Dia terdiam. Dia pandang teddy bear tu, dia pandang saya. Saya pandang dia.
Tajam renungan dia lalu dia berkata "Ya bang. Anak saya lagi mahu teddy bear. Kelmarin ada nampak di kedai. Tapi harganya mahal sangat. Boleh buat lauk makan keluarga bang. (Sambil ketawa). Ya Allah. Sayu bunyinya. Saya tergamam sekejap. Lampu bertukar hijau. Dia angkat tangan dekat saya. Saya cakap dekat dia "Hati-hati bang. Nak hujan ni. Abang memang ayah terbaik"
Sekejap sahaja Tuhan hantarkan saya peringatan. Atas apa jua kepayahan yang sedang kita lalui, ada orang lebih susah dari kita.
Begitulah kasihnya seorang ayah. Kita selalu dengar kisah pengorbanan ibu dan para wanita. Namun, usah kita lupa pengorbanan para lelaki.
Setiap hari mereka keluar mencari rezeki. Entah hujan, entah panas. Tak siapa yang tahu apa dilalui setiap hari bagi memastikan ada nasi di atas pinggan untuk keluarga.
Lelaki ni memang jenis tak suka sangat bercerita apa yang mereka lalui di luar. Tanggungjawab di bahu yang dipikul bukan mudah. Kadang tu, atas motor tak perasan air mata berlinang. Betul tak?
Buat para lelaki, moga terus kuat semangat semuanya. Setiap tanggungjawab ini, ada ganjaran pahala di sisi Tuhan.
Mari kita semua bersama-sama terus melawan kerasnya hidup ini. Kita tidak boleh putus asa kerana di belakang kita ada harapan yang perlu dipenuhi.
Kalau rasa down, tatap sekejap wajah-wajah insan yang Tuhan amanahkan untuk kita.
