The third round of reusable mask distribution by Temasek Foundation started today. The new masks can be rewashed up to 50 times while retaining the antimicrobial performance. You should be familiar with the collection process by now – just bring your NRIC or government-issued ID with a barcode to the vending machines at your RCs, CCs or bus interchanges. Four sizes are available, so make sure you pick the right size. Do note that the size S masks can only be collected at CCs, Plaza Singapura, and Temasek Shophouse.

A gentle reminder – there is no need to rush! There is enough stock for everyone and you have up till 13 Dec to collect yours. 😷

Temasek Foundation is doing a second round of reusable mask distribution after the positive response to the first round. Reusable masks are a good option as they protect us against viruses and ease the strain on our environment.

From today to 4 Oct, Singapore residents holding a government issued ID can collect two free reusable masks each from vending machines located at CCs, RCs and bus interchanges. Child-size masks are available at certain locations. More details on mask collection and pre-orders can be found at https://mask.stayprepared.sg

For my Teck Ghee residents, you can collect your free adult and child-size masks at Teck Ghee CC. Adult masks are also available at RCs and RNs. You can check the above website for availability. – LHL

We are convinced to bring Joreen here after checking their safety measures are thorough. They are SG CLEAN Certified, thorough cleaning before and after operating hours, extensive sanitization in between play sessions! To ensure safe distancing, each session is cap at 54 pax. This also create more space for our kids to play!⁣ Yay!

Mama feel Tayo Station is suitable for both younger kids and older kids. The younger kids can have sensory play at the Poco’s Hinoki Play (Hinoki wood cubes imported from South Korea & has soothing smell to relax your mind), fun and safe play at the Lani's Room (fully foam padded) etc⁣

For Joreen she zoomed to the Tayo's Road Circuit first! Her all time favourite place for a fun-filled ride! She pretend washing her little Tayo bus, went to the garage to repair it and even pump her own petrol :) Mama also taught Joreen various road signs and basic road safety rules.⁣
⁣
Joreen next favourite play gotta be the Gani's Playground. Very good place to drain her high energy level :P⁣
And the ball pit is definitely well loved by kids at all age! Mama loves it too ! hehe ⁣

I wanted to show you all how to take the bus in Shenzhen, and decided to go to China's most popular beach only to be told that I need my passport and a reservation to access the beach!

Shenzhen Tong (Chinese: 深圳通) is a contactless smartcard system used for electronic payments in public transportation and some other areas in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China. It was developed by Shenzhen Modern Computer, the provider of automatic fare collection systems to Shenzhen Metro, with cooperation from Octopus Cards Limited, the operator of Hong Kong's Octopus cards system. It was first adopted by minibuses in Shenzhen, until the new system was introduced by Shenzhen Metro. The English name was originally TransCard.

Starting from January 18, 2006, Shenzhen Tong was gradually accepted by public buses to replace the old IC card system by Shenzhen Bus. All routes operated by Shenzhen Bus Group, Shenzhen Eastern Bus, Shenzhen Western Bus and most other private buses operators accept Shenzhen Tong cards.

Infineon Technologies announced it has won a contract to be the sole supplier of contactless microprocessor chips for Shenzhen Tong cards. Issuance unit volume of these cards is expected to exceed three million by the end of 2008.

Shenzhen Tong card can be purchased for RMB20 (Sale Version Card) deposit. A combined Shenzhen Tong and Hong Kong Octopus card is available, called the Hu Tong Xing, with RMB & HKD in different purses.
