Did you know when the Eiffel Tower was built, many Parisians protested against it that it would ruin the beauty of Paris as it is viewed as a gigantic black smokestack. Eiffel Tower is now the greatest attraction of Paris in France and the most visited paid monument in the world that hosts more than approx 7 million visitors each year and about 300 million visitors have been to the tower since its opening. It has grown to be a symbol of Paris.
