許多人的青春代表 blink-182 將於今年 7 月發行專輯【California】，這是樂團睽違 5 年的新作品，也是樂團首張 Tom DeLonge 沒有參與的作品。

Tom 和 blink-182 的關係目前仍然相當不明朗，Tom 前幾天表示自己仍然在和 Travis 討論關於樂團的事情。同時也否認了媒體報導 Tom 是因外星人的事不願意花太多時間巡迴而和大家鬧翻，因為他並沒有離開 blink-182。

不過他也證實自己正在進行外星人相關的事務。目前 Tom 正在拍攝紀錄片【Sekret Machines】，這是一部關於外星人的紀錄片，今年四月他也出版了一本同名的書籍，紀錄片合作的對象包含政府官員、美國國防部等。

Tom 投入外星人相關的研究超過 20 年，並相當堅信政府不斷的在隱瞞關於外星人的事，過去他曾到 51 區外圍露營，並聲稱當晚自己失去了 3 小時的記憶，並相信自己的電話被監聽等。

在 1999 年，Blink-182 就曾發表過一首《Aliens Exist 》，他也將兒子的 middle name 取為 Rocket，都顯示出他對外太空的熱衷。

blink-182 在本周公開了新曲《Bored To Death 》的音樂錄影帶，不過少了 Tom 實在就不像 blink-182 了。
