• 焗麵包布甸 Baked Bread Pudding $55. Recommended to be paired with their Trio Blend, Italian Hot Chocolate drink 😋
•Madeleines & Financiers by @hamibernice @hamibakery are always one of the best in HK as I have always said. Apart from the ones say at Arbor, ex Spoon/Rech by Alain Ducasse, or now Batard is decent. The default Madeleine with Lemon Zest, also Keemun Tea are lovely. Using a famous Japanese baking mould
•Cold Brew Cacao Tea 🍫🍵 . With Cacao Nibs, & a reduced Cacao Syrup from 🇹🇼. Due to the way its made, similar to some Cold Brew coffees, it also carries a slight shochu like alcoholic note. I liked the Cacao syrup so much I started pouring some on the Bread Pudding to eat 😁🍞😍

#周末愉快! 到我去 Batard HK打咭啦!🥳🥂🍷😋呢度其實係一間酒舖叫The Fine Wine Experience,同時又係一間餐廳,特色係你可以係酒舖直接買酒,然後係返呢度餐廳食就可以免開瓶,咁就唔使支酒拎嚟拎去,而且仲好抵(平時餐廳wine list有mark up, 呢度只係比酒舖價錢)!食物質素都好講究,由Chef Aven Lau 主理(佢之前係3星米芝蓮Odette及1星米芝蓮餐廳Belon做過),十分仔細。識飲識食嘅你,記得去試吓啦!#Cheers! 🥳🥂🍷😋
#HappyWeekend! My turn to check-in at #BatardHK! 🥳🥂🍷😋 It’s actually a wine shop, The Fine Wine Experience, and it’s also a restaurant in the wine shop! The specialty about this place is that u can buy a wine directly from the wine shop and then u can enjoy free corkage to dine in the restaurant! So, u don’t need to carry the wine back and forth & they won’t charge u like restaurant’s normal mark up by paying the retail wine shop price, which is value for money! And the food quality is good & delicate, as it is helmed by Chef Aven Lau, who has worked in 3-star Michelin Odette & 1-star Michelin Belon restaurants before. Bâtard ~ 全城最火紅的餐廳

說這裡是全城最難訂的餐廳,一點沒誇張。有幾難訂?就是主理人的朋友也找不到位,可見有多旺場。
這是朋友安排的周五午餐,穿過舖前的酒舖,更大的酒窖就在店子的後方。高樓底加上充足的光線,空間感十足,非常舒適。
年紀輕輕(27歲!)的主廚Aven履歷可不簡單,由新加坡米芝蓮三星的Odette到香港的Belon還有LE PAN,這一餐實在令人期待。
點上的都是餐廳的招牌菜,先來幾味都是下酒小吃。Trout Roe Tartlette是一件鱒魚籽撻,薄薄的脆撻底跟鮮甜而「爆珠」的魚籽在口感上形成有趣的層次。Beef Tartare Cannelloni就是牛肉他他脆卷,十級脆口的外層跟軟滑的生牛肉他他在口感層次變化上跟前一道鱒魚籽撻是相似的。
Slow Poached Foie Gras賣相頗不錯,軟滑的鵝肝醬外層是忌廉芝士,配上甜美的士多啤梨及以清酒醬汁調味,簡單美味。Biscuit De Brochet是一件小小的酥餅,跟蕃茄撻一樣酥皮做得極好。
主菜方面,鮟鱇魚及烤鵪鶉也出色。烤全雞當然也是必吃,用上的是新鮮三黃雞,烤得皮脆而肉嫩當然已是意料之內的事。挑了胸肉來吃,肉味濃郁而口感十足,真的好吃。墊底的味飯雞酒香味十足,略帶硬身也好吃。這一道菜式索價$880,必點。
這個下午,東西吃得多,酒也喝得不少,大滿足。
