Gigue吉格舞曲原先是一種流傳於十五世紀英國的民俗舞蹈，於十七世紀傳入法國，逐漸演變為節奏多變、舞步複雜，形式較不規則的法式吉格，一般拍號為6/8拍，曲式Binary Form二段體，每段各反覆一次（A－A－B－B）。
