農曆新年後，連我自己18年創業經驗，我希望和你分享我在哈佛學到及應用了什麼 (幸運地，我公司過去幾年的同事們 turnover 都是近0)，可能令你的領袖能力亦有所啟發。
題目: 六步提升你的領袖能力 (6 Steps to Become A Better Leader) based on Harvard Professor Robert Steven Kaplan's teaching and his 3 books.
日期: 2020年2月8日或15日 (星期六)
時間: 9am to 1pm
地點: Classified Cafe and My Office at New World Tower, 16 Queens Road Central, HK.
人數: 每場限20位，
對象: 免費，但只適合工作經驗5至10年以上的管理人士參與。
教材: 講廣東話，內容是英文
Agenda:
(1) Speed dating, self intro and expectations.
(2) Split into teams of 2 or 3 people.
(3) Go thru the leadership framework by Prof. Robert Steven Kaplan (現任美國達拉斯 Dallas 聯邦儲備銀行行長卡普蘭)
(4) Ask those questions and answer in teams.
(5) 回答你任何對做生意的問題，takeaway value and let's all be friends.

Build Relationship Exercise:
A. Write down something about yourself that the other person probably doesn't know. Have the other person do the same.
B. Write down a question you like to ask the other person that would help you understand him or her better. The other person do the same. Ask them.
C. Write down an area of deep self doubt. Disclose to other person and ask for advise.

Giving and getting feedback
A. Seek feedback and seek coaching .
B. Actively coach others. Coach up and coach down. Are your advice specific, timely, actionable?
- Coaching is watching vs mentoring is telling.
C. Not year end review alone. It will be a verdict. Review frequently.
Communication with peers:
A. Ask why do you work here? What's great?
B. What do you hate about here?
C. Can you suggest what action to improve above?

What is the Purpose of Your life? 你做人目的為乜?
我相信十個人入面，可能得一兩個知道。知道咗， 你就會十樣嘢入面知道應該專注做邊一兩樣。之前我係機場講過...
我2015係哈佛讀過一個Authentic Leadership, Finding Your True North (真誠領袖，尋找人生真正方向) 嘅課程，教授 Bill George 研究咗172個佢認為 authentic leaders 真誠嘅領袖，包括馬雲、巴菲特等，佢話做人，就好似一Onion 洋蔥咁，要真正了解自己就了解晒咁多層。
最表面嗰層係你嘅外表，言行舉止。 入一層係你嘅強處、弱處、需求、慾望。再入一層係你嘅 motivation and values (推動力及價值觀)，再入一層就係你嘅 life story, shadow, blind spot(人生故事，陰影及盲點)， 最核心的就係你嘅 Authentic Self (真正嘅自己)。每一層方向都一致，就係你嘅 True North.
.... 呢個亦都係你做人嘅 purpose。
我係一個好 cheap 嘅人。飛來倫敦，我坐經濟客位，最怕去米芝蓮餐廳，太貴等太耐我唔enjoy。琴晚我先同我老婆係 Holiday Inn Express 住，快靚正。除咗我老婆，我所有靚嘢都係我阿哥用完唔要比我。 我著緊呢件衫呢條褲，都係赤柱出入口百零蚊貨仔。My point is .... 好多靚嘅嘢，我攞唔到 satisfaction。
但我琴日見到我租客 Nicole send 咗呢個 message 俾我，真係好開心。 因為我哋幫佢諗咗個promotion嘅橋，平時只係賣幾十杯，最多百零杯嘅佢，昨日星期五賣咗482杯。破晒紀錄。因為 my purpose of life is "Have the courage and passion to make a difference in life by providing a new way for others to reach where they want to reach." (以勇氣同熱誠，用新嘅方法幫其他人去到佢哋想去嘅地方。) 亦都係因為咁我做香港第一個商舖基金， 我好想慳番啲我自己坐business class 或者靚酒店嘅錢，幫租客做多啲生意，同2013年起喺Facebook 同YouTube 道錄咗二千幾條片， 有時扮鬼扮馬埋，同你分享我些小創業同買舖知識，因為我經常問自己
(1) “Are you using your courage and passion?" 你有否用勇氣及熱誠?
(2) "Is it new way? or every body is already doing it?" 是否新方式? 或已經個個人做緊?
(3) Are you helping others to reach where they want to reach? 是否幫緊其他人達到他們想去的地方?
No No No, 省返， Yes Yes Yes, 咁就做啦。盡情做，日日做。
嚟緊連續幾個星期六， 我想用小組嘅形式一齊同你尋找下你做人嘅purpose。 每組三四位，分享下:
(1) Your life story 你人生成長故事
(2) Losing your way 你點樣迷失過方向?
(3) Cruicibles 改變你人生嘅嚴峻考驗
(4) Values and Principles 做人價值及宗旨
(5) Strengths/Weaknesses and Motivation 強弱處及推動力
(6) Your Sweet Spot 做人最有效嗰個「甜點」
最後 (7) What is the Purpose of Your Life? 知道晒以上啦，咁你做人目的為乜呢?

啱啱落機 Boston 返港，問你一個好deep 嘅問題，Do you know your purpose of life? 你做人為乜呢?
香港最近好亂，但就係因為外面亂，你自己更加唔可以亂。知道自己嘅人生 purpose (自的)，自然就會開心，自己就唔會亂。
我2015係哈佛讀過一個Authentic Leadership, Finding Your True North (真誠領袖，尋找人生真正方向) 嘅課程，教授 Bill George 研究咗172個佢認為 authentic leaders 真誠嘅領袖，包括馬雲、巴菲特等，佢話做人，就好似一Onion 洋蔥咁，要真正了解自己就了解晒咁多層。
