HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR YOGA JOB INTERVIEW? - if you’re asking yourself the same question, 👀 along:
1️⃣- Have your photos taken. Other industries might not need a photo but in the field of yoga, almost every employer would ask for a photo to see how your practice is. So get some photos taken - professionally if possible.
2️⃣ - Have your bio ready. This should include how many and what trainings you have received. Highlight who your lead trainers were too. If possible, maybe ask your lead trainer to write a few comments (like a note of recommendation) about you. Highlight anything in the past that might make you a great hire too. If you're great with communicating with others, make sure you mention it.
3️⃣ - Research on the studio - Find out what the studio is; its background. Check out its website and IG, see what they offer and what is missing in their service. And see if you could provide what they need. If you know someone who's a member there, talk to them to get their perspective as a member. See what's working and what's not.
4️⃣ - Be yourself. At the interview, be honest and authentic. Employers are more interested in your personality and in seeing if you're a team player, rather than hoping you are the king of #handstand. A good interview is basically a good conversation. If this is your first interview, don't ask about the money right away. You should always ask questions and say thank you when you leave. Prepare a short sequence to demonstrate your teaching skills and keep the sequence simple. You don’t have to put your legs behind your head to teach a yoga class.
5️⃣- Leave a thank you note. Always say thank you after the interview. If you get the job, condragulations! If not, thank them again and ask for feedback. Find out how you could improve yourself and let them know that you are willing to work on those things.
These are my 5 tips on how to prepare for an interview and, most importantly, be reconsidered if you don't get the job right away. What do you guys think? Leave a comment if you have questions or got other useful tips too.

"Who Are You?”
Three simple words. Difficult to answer.
This past weekend I had the fortune to work with 20 budding yoga teachers in Hong Kong at my annual #mentorshipworkshop. Apart from the adjustment skills and teaching feedback that you would expect in a #yogateachertraining, one thing the teachers didn't expect me to ask them, and keep asking them, is this simple question ""WHO ARE YOU."" Knowing the answer to this question will help you define your teaching and find your voice.
I have been asked so many times in the last few years, how to build a brand, how to stand out as a yoga teacher, how to promote myself as a yoga teacher, how to get more clients, how to work with other brands. Will being able to teach advanced asanas be enough to be a great teacher? Will having beautiful photos in my instagram be sufficient to attract other brands to want to work with me? How to build a name for myself? How to get more followers on Instagram?
All of those are valid questions. But without knowing who you are, without knowing why you teach yoga (or why you do whatever business you're doing), all those questions will mean nothing. It is easy to teach yoga classes, handstand, headstand. It is easy to fill your classes if you try hard enough. But without digging deep to find out why you do the things you do, you and your business will only go so far.
Knowing why you teach is like knowing your core values - so you and your business will have a personality. Knowing who you are gives you trememdous power to make the right decision and do the right thing - so you have courage and confidence. Knowing who you are will allow you to know your own worth - so you can charge accordingly.
So next time when you ask me, how to stand out in a saturated market full of yoga teachers. My questions back to you are: do you know who you are and why you teach?
Thank you so much @delia.indrayoga @reebiesw @jason.washbourne @charlztrevor @anthealook @vrikokwok for sharing your wisdom and insight.
Thank you @maryhoiwai @dennislu_stayfit @msaliceinyogaland @stellaaaron @janetpsl for without your help, this workshop wouldn’t have happened.

So I decided to share this again with my new followers about my acne scars journey..
I always snap a photo of my skin condition.. sbb i wanted to see the results.. so i kept a photo of my skin from the first day i tried using dermaroller together with the skincare all from @officialpurestbyfaezahelai
And this is the results after 6 years..
Tahun 2020 ja tk jumpa gambaq.. 😅
As you can see, my skin has changed significantly in 6 years..
I want to emphasize again that deep scars tk boleh hilang,tp boleh lighten up to 80 to 90% if u consistent..
Tp my skin was a bit slow..sbb i started with needles 0.25mm for about a year then tried 0.5mm lepas tu baru paham the best for deep scars, pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles ni semua 1.0mm is the best.. so klu cheq start 1.0mm dari awai, maybe in a year i can get the results mcm skrg..
Sbb ramai bg feedback from using @officialpurestbyfaezahelai 2 weeks means first roll dh nampak beza..
.
So if u are facing this problem too, don’t hesitate to ask our skin consultant, boleh tekan link whatsapp kt profile @officialpurestbyfaezahelai and u can also purchase from @shopee_my

It's been quite awhile since my last upload and the previous uploads were very gear focused too. Wanted to talk about something I've been thinking a lot for awhile. Creativity often times has been used as crutch to shield ourselves from negative feedback or descriptions of our work that we don't necessarily like. We see it all them in comments and sometimes in our own responses. Awhile back I posted a video about mistakes street photographers are making and some people took it a little too personally and reached out saying how I shouldn't gate keep things and that I didn't know what I was talking about.
I think a lot of these reactions, sometimes including my own, stem from insecurities that we might have towards our work and maybe, in ourselves. Would love to know what you think about this

Wanted to practice shooting with lenses that I'm not comfortable or used to which are telephoto lenses. Took my 70-200 together with my 1DX Mark III and went to the streets of Bukit Bintang, Malaysia to practice.
Let me know what you think of this new format and if it's something you'd like to see more! Would love some feedback.
