Year of July. Prof. 2010 Argentina's public debt is at 4.9 trillion baht.
Or about 44 % of GDP
Year of July. Prof. 2019 Argentina's public debt is at 11 trillion baht.
Or about 93 % of GDP
Increasing public debt is creating a heavy problem for Argentina now called Argentina the sick people of South America.
Some may not know that once in the early 20th century, Argentina was one of the world's most wealthy countries.
Because Argentina's farming industry is growing greatly from lands, fertile and climate suitable for agriculture sector.
This story is made in July. B.E. 1913 Argentina is addicted to 1 of the 10 countries with the world's highest population income.
However, time has passed 106 years
In the year. B.E. 2019 Argentina's per capita income falls to 66 of the world.
The beginning of economic fragility of a country is born from 2 main causes.
1. Political unrest, which comes from the Revolution of the military and corruption of cuddle Politicians.
2. Policy implementation of many leaders in the past who wanted to create a nationalist and bring in printing and budget spending, large amounts of balance.
When things are like this, it causes financial burden to the country.
Argentina has experienced various problems like a strong patient.
So how does this affect Argentina?
Year of July. Prof. 2019 The country's inflation rate is at 54 % highest in almost 30 years.
And the 5th highest in the world
During the year of July B.E. 2009-2019 Argentina has a budget deficit every year, making Argentina one of the world's longest budgeted countries.
The government's debt burden is increasingly composed to high-level inflation. This is why the Argentine peso goes down quickly.
If we exchanged $ 1 for Argentina pesos
Year of July. B.E. 2009 will exchange for 3.8 Argentina pesos
Year of July. B.E. 2019 will exchange for 60 Argentina pesos
The country's money is almost 1,480 % weaker. Many people may think that one side of peso money should help the export sector of the country, but it doesn't seem like much. Because today, the export sector is just 14 % of the country's exports. GDP value only
Peso's weakening of money makes the central bank have to use the reserve to keep the money from severely weakening.
But this has reduced the central bank reserve substantially from 2.1 trillion baht in July. B.E. 2018
Only 1.2 trillion baht left now.
Argentina needs help from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) worth over 1.8 trillion baht, which is the most critical country's subsidy in IMF history.
However, another bad joke is
Currently, the public debt burden that the Argentina government has is 80 % in foreign debt and most are in the picture of US dollars.
The weakness of Argentina peso compared to US dollars makes the country's debt increase because more Argentina peso is required to pay the same debt.
We can imagine that 10 years ago
If we owe $ 1
We will spend just 3.8 Argentina pesos to exchange $ 1 to pay back debt.
But come today, we're spending 60 Argentina pesos to exchange $ 1 to pay back debt.
This kind of thing has happened to Thailand in July. Prof. 1997 Many people remember that we need to spend 2 times more money to pay the same debt.
But Argentina is now not 2 times more debt, but ten times more debt..
The Argentina government currently has foreign debt for over 2 trillion baht and recently, the Argentina government has just defaulted to pay the debt (Default). Pay interest in stock loan amounts of over 16,000 million baht.
The government has previously negotiated restructuring debt with creditors to pay down interest and delay debt repayment, but it is rejected by creditors. Now the Argentine government needs to revisit the new offer to negotiate with creditors again.
Which now doesn't know what the final conclusion of this story will be.
But for sure, if the Argentina government can't afford to pay debt to the creditors, the story may be worse than we see now.
While Argentina's debts pay interest for the 9th Argentina in country history after Argentina has experienced total 8 moratorium defaults since Spain independence in July. Prof. 1816 or 204 years ago
This may be a lesson for many countries to learn things from countries that have experienced problems in order to avoid and not follow those countries.
Thailand now seems far from being Argentina
But be careful because everything, if careless, it can always happen..

Have you spent more time on Zoom calls and webinars this month than you have ever spent in the previous year before? You are not alone.
With enforced social distancing in all Greater Southeast Asia countries, and bans on travel and public excursions in a number of them, this may be the new status quo for a few years, if statistical projections of the Covid19 pandemic are reliable.
Founders can take insights from pretty stressful experiences like this to help them get better at their startup journey. This current situation is a good example.
This month, I talked to Lewis Pong and Alan Chan of Hong Kong-based startup Omnichat (AW#16), to find out what these founders were learning during this disruption.
They reported that their acquisition of new clients grew 20% during the weeks of the pandemic lockdown, as they turned to using online tools to hold webinars and to interact with client leads.
I wanted to dig into why this is, because I think young founders can learn from this during search for product-market fit in a rather constrained environment. Keep in mind, this is my interpretation of my chat with them, and I'm focusing here on the insight. Here's some context, first.
Lewis and Alan operate a marketing automation startup that helps retailers learn about and stay in touch with customers through automated omnichannel messaging. There's more to it than that, but that's the core.
One of their business development demographics is bricks and mortar retailers who would benefit from connecting to customers online.
If you are a bricks and mortar retailer, the insights and connections you have developed through foot traffic make up part of your competitive advantage.
But overnight, foot traffic vanished. Retailers that had prioritized bricks and mortars methods for sales suddenly found they had no more advantage. And for founders like Pong and Chan, they also lost their ability to do face-to-face meetings.
Chan and Pong turned to webinars and online tools to step in and connect to these business leads. It turned out, this not only showed these clients how online truly worked. It deepened their interest in Omnichat.
They were able to move beyond describing concepts to previously uncertain bricks and mortar business owners, to showing real value.
The core lesson in a situation like this is what Regis McKenna, a marketing guru, pointed out way back in 1997. Marketing doesn't sell a product or a good as much as providing the actual service and experience does. Marketing is an entire process that stimulates a customer to have this shared experience. This happens to be the DNA of online platforms. They are built to provide this in so many ways.
Pong and Chan were able to create conversion because they were able to work with clients in the same environment where their marketing promised value for end users. They lived online with their customers.
This is something, in my opinion, that is useful for any kind of business, but is absolutely essential in startups. Startups are always something new. They can rarely be described by talking about them. They have to be lived. And that goes for the customers founders bring along on the journey.
If you are a founder figuring out product-market fit and want to learn from other founders, we welcome you to join our network of over 1100 founders from around Taiwan and Southeast Asia during our next accelerator program. Applications for our AI and Blockchain focused Accelerator will be released in May here: https://bit.ly/2XWJshX

【劍橋辯論會(Cambridge Union)演說:China is the New Imperial Power in Hong Kong】
雖不獲法庭批准離港,我仍在上週透過視像會議方式,參與英國劍橋辯論會(Cambridge Union)的辯論「This House Believes China is the New Imperial Power in Hong Kong」。

Cambridge Union Debate: This House Believes China is the New Imperial Power in Hong Kong
When we speak of Imperial Power, it doesn’t necessarily mean a colonial power. But we are referring to an act of expanding influence and authority over a territory through political, legal, economic or even military means. And indeed, the Chinese communist government has exerted that influence over Hong Kong since the Handover in 1997 and escalated that influence more rapidly and more aggressively after 2003.
The principle of ‘One Country, Two Systems’ is a fragile ruling philosophy defining China-Hong Kong relations, guaranteeing the global financial city its autonomy. But in the past 22 years, Beijing intervened on many fronts already, abusing this ruling philosophy and implementing authoritarian measures upon Hong Kong citizens.
-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-
My activism experience serves as a clear case for the motion. Hong Kong’s civil society has long been the constant target of state attack, and the motive is crystal clear: to eradicate opposition in order to maintain China’s dominating influence over Hong Kong. The Oppression of personal freedoms is merely one case in point.
Last year in June, shortly after serving my prison sentence, I went protesting against the controversial extradition bill, exercising my freedom to assembly. The government arrested me again and charged me of inciting people taking part in an unlawful assembly. Then I went contesting in local election, yet the government banned me from running for office because of my political stance.
I then turned to international advocacy, planning to fly to the United Kingdom and other European countries to explain our democratic and peaceful cause. Regrettably, the court thought this parliamentary hearing is not important and rejected my travel application. Every time I spoke in parliamentary hearings, no matter in person or via skype, the Chinese foreign ministry would condemn that parliament for colliding with a so-called separatist who has never advocated independence.
Following these encounters, it's become clear now I'm deprived of the right to the election, freedom of movement, freedom of assembly (not allowed to appear on designated area), and freedom of speech. The civil liberties guaranteed in the constitution are however no longer applicable to me. These oppressive measures are not out of political context.
-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-
#重點在此 I’d also argue that time and again, China’s national pride and interests override Hong Kong’s own interests. The development in the past decade has shown that many of the competitive edges of Hong Kong as a global financial city like rule of law, free flow of information, checks and balances are compromised and give way to Xi Jinping’s Chinese Dream. The Wuhan Coronavirus outbreak precisely explain this argument. Hong Kong, given its proximity to mainland China, is highly prone to infection and spread of disease.
Instead of taking strict measures to prevent public health crisis from erupting, the Hong Kong government, as of today, still refused to close the border, allowing countless potential cases flee to Hong Kong and further dampen the burden of Hong Kong’s medical services. From the moment that Xi Jinping’s image become the top priority, the autonomous decision-making mechanism of the Hong Kong government has collapsed.
The opposing side may argue that China is not imperial power in HK because integration and cooperation in the past have fostered but not encroached economic development in Hong Kong and our city does benefit from it. I’m afraid I cannot agree with this viewpoint at all.
Growing socio-economic integration with China, more connected transport infrastructure like the High-Speed Railway, are accounted for the city’s outbreak of Coronavirus. The first five patients confirmed positive to the virus were passengers of the Railway. Behind the grand narratives of ‘economic integration’ is more blatant aggression of the Hong Kong system. Hong Kong always has to give in and make up for its sovereign country’s faulty policy.
-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-
In conclusion, I have two questions for everyone. Can citizens in New York directly elected their mayor? Yes. Can citizens in London directly their mayor? Yes. We are not asking go too far, but just hope to ask for election rather that selection under Chinese rule to hand-pick those Beijing Loyalists.People in Hong Kong is not experiencing rule of law but only suffering from rule by tear gas. The root cause of crisi is police brutality, which included live round fired towards high school students, young lady being gang rape in police stations and 8000 people arrested from the age of 11 to 84.
When offenses are committed and the offenders are prosecuted as is now happening, there’s no damage to the rule of law at all. It’s only when police officers who beat people up and none of them has even been arrested, that the rule of law is damaged. There’s no rule of law when the brutality of police officers goes unpunished!
Therefore, the House should recognize the fact that China is not only the new imperial power in HK, but it is also an authoritarian and oppressive imperial power since Emperor Xi took over the power. The continuing intervention of the Chinese authorities in Hong Kong’s local affairs presents a fundamental challenge to the continuation of HK peoples identity and way of life.
We are proud to be HongKongers and we hope to determine our own future. That’s the reason for cross-generation of HKers to fight for freedom and wish you can stand with Hong Kong. Thank you.

Allen Iverson calmly sank two free throws, and the magic number flashed on the scoreboard: 50 points.
The last time he did it, people had a problem with it.
This time, it was a milestone that showed how much things have changed.
Iverson tied his career high and made a mockery of his showdown with Sacramento's Jason Williams as the 76ers beat the Kings 119-108.
Iverson's performance was reminiscent of the one in Cleveland three years ago when he put up 50 in the city where he was booed during the rookie game at All-Star weekend.
Now, his team is in position to make the playoffs for the second straight season after an eight-year drought, and Iverson is finally shedding his reputation as a selfish showman who cares only about stats.
He was roundly criticized for his string of 40-point games as a rookie, accused of padding his stats in a push for the Rookie of the Year award--which he won.
Iverson's response this time: "I don't mind taking 40 shots. That's what I do."
"I played that game like it was my last when I was a rookie and scored 50," said Iverson, who equaled the most points scored in the NBA this season. "I did the same thing tonight, just like I do every night. And we won."
Iverson, approaching his first All-Star game, had a slew of incredible numbers: A career-high 20 field goals and 40 attempts, nine rebounds and six assists.
He favorite stat was the one that goes in the standings. Unlike his other 50-point game, the Sixers won.
"Regardless of whether I score 50 points or five points, I'm going to play as hard as I can," Iverson said. "I'm going to play every game like it's my last. I've been saying it since I got here. Regardless if the shots go in or not, I'm going to play hard."
Williams, the Kings' flashy point guard, had 14 points on 5-for-16 shooting and was not a factor in the outcome or the highlight reel.
Both realms belonged to Iverson, who scored 50 for the first time since he became the first rookie since Wilt Chamberlain to have four straight 40-point games. He had 50 on April 12, 1997, in a 125-118 loss to Cleveland.
Iverson scored 12 in the first quarter, 15 in the second, 12 in the third and 11 in the fourth. The Sixers improved to 3-10 in his career when he scores 40 or more.
"He took 40 shots?" said an incredulous Chris Webber, who led Sacramento with 32 points and 15 rebounds. "He made a lot of them, though."
Sixers coach Larry Brown didn't mind the 40 shots, either.
"I played with Rick Barry, and a lot of guys would mumble about the number of shots he takes," Brown said. "And his remark was, 'Half you guys can't get 40 shots.' And I think it's justified. I think it's a remarkable thing that Allen can do that most nights and not look like he lost anything."
It was quite a show witnessed by Philadelphia's fourth sellout crowd this season--including comedian Bill Cosby--and a national TV audience.
"It's nice to see Allen play well in a TV game," Brown said. "There was a time we were never on it, and the reason we're on it now is because we've won a couple of games and Allen's on the team."
Webber fouled out on a dizzying play that produced the two free throws that gave Iverson 50 points. With Philadelphia leading 107-102 and Iverson sitting on 48 points, he knifed into the lane and got his shot blocked as the clock approached the one-minute mark. Eric Snow clapped for him to give up the ball, but Iverson went back into the lane and drew Webber's sixth foul.
Brown motioned to his star with two hands to settle down. After a timeout, Iverson sank both free throws to hit 50 points, giving the Sixers a 109-102 lead with 1:37 left.
Snow had 11 points, 13 assists and no turnovers in what Brown,a former point guard, called "about the best game a point guard can have."
Iverson also hit 50 at the foul line three years ago in Cleveland, but under very different circumstances. He'd been booed when winning the rookie game MVP trophy in Cleveland, and was booed again on that April night. The Sixers were on their way to a 22-60 season.
Iverson had been so worried about the crowd reaction he'd receive in Cleveland that he called his mother, Ann, and told her not to attend the game. He said those thoughts were far away Sunday.
"I wasn't even paying attention," Iverson said. "I was just playing my game."
Notes: Iverson matched the Kings' total of 12 in the third as Philadelphia led 88-73. He scored 27 in the first half as the Sixers led by as many as 14. ... The Kings' eight-game road trip also matched a franchise high. The Cincinnati Royals were 3-5 in 1968-69, and the Kings were 3-5 in 1986-87.

Hi. My name is themblan, and I am a boy-gamer.
Today, we are deviating away from Nintendo-games and featuring one of my favorite games from my teenage years, and that is Final Fantasy Tactics for Sony PlayStation.
It was developed by Squaresoft before they merged with Enix, released in Japan in 1997, and published in North America in 1998 by Sony Computer Entertainment America, which also published Final Fantasy VII in the same region.
I was looking for a handy-dandy video on YouTube that featured all the attract-mode videos of this game, but to no avail. Attract-mode, for anyone that might not know, is essentially the stuff that happens when you leave a game on the title-screen and don't do anything. These days, most games don't do anything even if you leave the game on the title-screen, but back in the day, games might play special videos or play through some of the game by itself, to "attract" you to come pick up the controller and play the game. This was very useful if, for example, a retail store had the game running on a TV in the store. Potential customers would be "attracted" to buy the game by what they saw during the "attract-mode."
This video of mine features the opening cinematic, as well as the backstory-cinematic, a trailer advertising the game and featuring some credits, and the Job/Monster cinematic which goes through a bevy of Jobs and Monsters you will encounter in the game.
Back in the day, I really enjoyed watching these videos. Full-motion video clips, in general, was something that I enjoyed watching during the era of the first PlayStation, especially if they were designed and edited well, as they were in this game.
I still feel this original PlayStation-version of the game is the best, because the PSP-port called War of the Lions has issues with sound and slowdown. I had hoped its translation would make the game easier to understand, but instead, they chose to use a weird, old-English-like dialect that is even more difficult to understand than the original script.
This original version of the game is certainly a game I would love to see on the Switch. There have been many games in the same genre that have come out after Final Fantasy Tactics, like Disgaea, but Final Fantasy Tactics is still my favorite, and if I try games like Disgaea, I just end up feeling disappointed, and end up just replaying Final Fantasy Tactics instead.
