「Pretty」
=================================
--------------------------------------------------
1) She is pretty.
<例文>
Your daughter is so pretty!
I think she's pretty but she's so stuck up!
That dress looks great on you. You look so pretty!
--------------------------------------------------
2) That's a pretty necklace.
<例文>
Your scarf is so pretty! Where did you get it?
The sunset is so pretty! Let's take a picture.
This song is so pretty. Do you know who sings this song?
--------------------------------------------------
3) It's pretty cold today.
<例文>
This curry is a little spicy but it's pretty good.
That test was pretty hard. I thought it was going to be easy.
San Francisco is pretty far away. It's about a 6 hour drive.
--------------------------------------------------
4) I'm pretty good.
--------------------------------------------------
「How are you?」
<例文>
It's pretty good. I've had better pizza.
It was a pretty good movie. The ending was anticlimactic though.
I'm pretty good at basketball. I played 4 years in high school.
--------------------------------------------------
5) I'm pretty much done.
<例文>
I can pretty much eat anything.
That's pretty much it. Does anyone have any questions?
I pretty much study English every night.

Some people just won’t appreciate you until you’re no longer around. Sometimes people can’t see what they have; they only see what’s missing. They can’t even see that they have a preoccupation with recognizing what’s absent; it’s simply in their nature to do it. You can give and they’ll usually take, maybe you’ll even get a “thank you,” but at the end of the day there’ll be a desire for more. You give a hand, they want an arm. You give a day’s time, they want a week. You give the earth, they want the entire galaxy, and you wonder if you’ll ever do enough. If you’ll ever be enough. You know deep down you won’t, but you’ll continue to try, because maybe eventually they’ll see what they have.
When you look out, you see a large yard with potential to be the greenest, healthiest, most beautiful lawn in existence if cared for. You feel excited but when you try to show it to them, the look of disappointment worn on their face quickly brings your emotional high down. The anticlimactic unimpressed look in their eyes crushes your soul — how can they not see what you see? You begin planting a garden on the side, mowing and watering the grass, doing your best to make your vision of a picturesque, utopic lawn come true, because maybe then they’ll start to see what you see. Maybe then they’ll see what they have.
Sometimes people won’t see what they have. They see what others have and want that. They see others’ filtered pictures in high definition, under a fancy tint and they want that moment of stunning beauty that was captured in a still shot, but they want it every second of every single day. If you can’t give it to them then they’ll find it elsewhere because if it were meant to be, you’d provide them with what they want and you’d do it immediately, with minimal error.
Sometimes people can’t see what they have. Maybe they’re overlooking, or ungrateful, or need glasses in the form of a wakeup call. Sometimes people can’t see what they have until it’s gone, and unfortunately that means you won’t be appreciated until your efforts cease to exist. What you’ve given must be taken away, or at the very least the supply of affection must be cutoff. Sometimes there’s no other way. You’ll be an artist who wasn’t cherished until after their death, or the luxury of running water, amenity unrecognized until nonexistent. Sometimes people can’t see what they have, and it’s simply impossible for you to show them before it’s too late, because ‘too late’ gives everyone 20/20 vision.

[CNY special] Nin Go (Sweet Rice Cake) Cookie $45 🧧🍪
when East meets West🧧 American-style chewy cookies stuffed with Chinese sweet rice cake is certainly one of the most creative combination ever 😋 the signature cookies from @cookie.dpt never disappoint- chunky on the outside with a chewy and melty interior. The rice cake 年糕, however, I’ve expected it to be more soft and gooey- splitting the oven-reheated cookie, only to find the rice cake comes off as a whole piece was...a teeny bit anticlimactic 😅 Anyways it’s still a giant piece of yummy indulgence and I love how the gold leaves adds to the new year vibes 🧧 happy lunar new year everyone 🥰

After my Longplay of Streets of Rage, I didn't want to jump straight into Streets of Rage 2. After a little while, though, I began to crave the game, especially its music.
Streets of Rage 2 features the compositions of Yuzo Koshiro and
Motohiro Kawashima, and they are excellent. The game's music definitely sounds happier and more triumphant than its predecessor's. I always found the ending-theme of Streets of Rage to be anticlimactic, but the theme in this game induces feelings of triumph and closure.
I first played this game in 1992. My friend came over and we beat it together on our first tries. It was very fun.
Today, I decided to play as Max Thunder because I don't see him in many videos; most videos seem to feature Axel - not that there is anything wrong with that. Axel is very cool and is my favorite character in this game as well, but I do love Max's sheer power and variety of grappling-moves.
I had some trouble with Max in the later levels because I usually play as Axel and didn't know how to damage certain enemies, but I was able to pull through.
This was recorded using HD Retrovision's component-video YPbPr cables, line-quadrupled from 240p to 960p (1280 x 960) with the Open Source Scan Converter (OSSC), captured with Micomsoft's XCapture-1 capture-card, and then upscaled to 1080p in post-processing with Blackmagic Design's Resolve software.
