我可以，你也可以！今年是我來美國第10年，記得剛從西北大學畢業的時候，剛好遇上金融風暴，投了500+封履歷，到美國紐約和洛杉磯花幾個月住在朋友家客廳每天拜訪三五個校友。最後毛遂自薦寫了一個數位商業計劃到了芝加哥的媒體公司創造了自己的職位，這一路靠著每一位的你很多的貴人相助，滿滿的感恩！This year is my 10th year in the US. Remember when I just got my master degree from Northwestern U in 2008, companies were laying off. I submitted 500+ resume, stayed in friends' living room in NY and LA for months and daily cold calling 3-5 people who I never met for networking. Finally, I built a business plan and convinced a media company to hire me as a contractor to help build a new digital department - they gave me a chance to create my own job. I was able to did that only because I got tons of help from people like you who didn't know me but shared the dream I had. Thank you, because of you I am here today!
這兩天在準備搬家，意外發現2008年金融風暴時從西北大學IMC研究所剛畢業在美國找工作的記事本，當天為了找工作在東西岸借住朋友客廳，每天登門拜訪在我想工作公司的校友，行程從清晨到晚上，受到無數拒絕，最後我做了一份商業計劃，在裁員的美國媒體公司說服總經理開一個職位給我，特別感恩這幾年來在我困難的時候接濟我的貴人們! Packing at home for moving downtown. Found a note with my crazy networking schedule when I was looking for a job in 2008, which is the year with financial crisis, when I graduated from Northwestern University with my Master's degree. Was staying with friends in various cities to visit alumni who work for my target companies all day long. Countless rejection...Finally created a proposal and convince a company to create a position for me to help launch a new division. Specially thanks to those people who helped me along the process and allowed me to stay in their living rooms.
