At first this #AsanaSketch wasn't *really* about the asana. I just wanted to put something out there to show all of the nurses & other healthcare workers on the frontlines that we see them and we are SO SO thankful for everything they are sacrificing right now to keep us all safe.

But then I decided to do a bit of research into where the alternate name of "Dancing Shiva Pose" comes from, and stumbled across this really powerful description in a @yoga_international article about this asana

In Indian mythology, Shiva is the god of both destruction and transformation.
.
The name Shiva comes from a Sanskrit root that means liberation or freedom.
Shiva manages to find a blissful state of being amidst constant change and chaos.
Dancing Shiva pose provides an opportunity to embody blissful stillness in the midst of a challenge.
We remain strong and steady in our foundation while enduring the motion and changes that come in any standing balance pose.
We remember to stay playful and lighthearted while remaining grounded in our true nature.

So a post that started out not-really-about-the-asana turns out to be all about the asana (funny how that happens).
At this crucial moment in history, we should all seek to embody Dancing Shiva.
Find that stillness in this time of constant change, challenge and chaos.
Trust in your strong and steady foundation.
Remain grounded in who you are.
You've got this. We've got this.

哈拉瑞（Yuval Noah Harair）在著作《人類大歷史》（Sapiens：A Brief History of Huamnkind）寫到自從人類可以想像世界上不存在的東西之後，

就開始把貝殼、石頭當成貨幣。

隨著人們對於貨幣的需求提升，

稀有的貴金屬就逐漸成為貨幣的替代品。

在《金錢決定歷史》一書中，

作者寫到貴金屬能成為後補貨幣的三個原因：

一、可以被切成小單位交易

以黃金來說，

是延展性很強的物質，

透過鍛造可以做到27萬2000分之一的厚度，

或是拉成細條，

這樣的特性讓貴金屬能夠被分為很小的單位轉手，

也可以做成裝飾品。

反觀貝殼或是其他候補貨幣就很難被分割。

二、易於保存

古代使用的貝殼一但破碎，

他的價值就幾乎喪失。

而黃金則可以長時間不生鏽、不變質。

三、有使用價值

貨幣要能夠被日常使用，

使用價值也是一環，

例如在日本早期是用大米作為貨物、韓國則是棉布。

在埃及法老王圖坦卡門（Tutankhamun）陵墓挖掘出許多黃金飾品，

也說明了對位階越高的人來說，

黃金的使用價值就越高。

這種珍貴性也讓高價值的物品能夠用很輕重量的黃金就進行移轉，

不需要靠笨重的日常用品進行交易。

The Order 1886

The Order: 1886 is set in an alternate history 1886 London, where an old Order of Knights keep the world safe from half breed monsters, which are a combination of animal and human. In the game's history, around the seventh or eighth century, a small number of humans took on bestial traits. The majority of humans feared these half-breeds and war broke out. Despite the humans outnumbering the half-breeds, their animal strength gave them the upper hand in centuries of conflict.

Humanity finds new hope in King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. King Arthur and his like-minded knights take the fight to the half breeds, but Arthur soon realizes it is a losing battle. Through a mysterious turn of fate, the Knights discover Blackwater, a mystical liquid that significantly extends their lifetimes and gives them remarkable healing abilities. Engineers are far ahead of their time, inventing technologies such as thermal imaging, railguns, zeppelins, and wireless communications.
