FAITH ESCAPE
Religion, the most influential thing that gathers people together without bounds. For centuries architecture has been used for many purposes. Some are notable, some can refine people’s spirituality. We believe that every religion can be initiated needs spiritual belief and located in accessible areas under one roof. Faith Escape refers to cooperative, constructive and positive interaction between people of different religious traditions in AEC. Can architecture encourage each religious cooperation?

When it comes to building a church, mosque, temple or any worship house, the design elements are quite obvious. Some sacred space of each faith can be combined, some specifically required more privacy. Faith Escape was designed to provide a special place for every faith to express their spirituality and belief ,also making a accommodating for various arrangements and events, practices and teachings. Thus, every religion can shared their spiritual’s experience under one roof with no boundary. As everyone know “There is no boundaries in religion”, however the conflict could still take place through admiration of each religion. In the similar way, ASEAN also aim to reduce the religious conflict to make a better place for everyone without exploitation. Creating a place for ritual activities of 3 main religious in southeast Asia in one place; Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam, that provides a general public area for ritual space which followers from every religious can learn and study how do other follower's path way. Tak-bai is a border town on Malaysia-Thailand Border, which located in Narathiwat. Erewhile, this area were crowned by Buddhist and Islamite, subsequently colonization had increased and divided this area into two countries; Thailand and Malaysia. According to Tak-bai incident and unrest in southern indicated those two separated Islamite want to unite once again. Hence this situation obviously points that religious is the most powerful thing which can gather everyone together beneath morality. Approximately 9,500 sq.m facility contains many entrances approaching to the main forum surrounding by ramp and building. The main forum is a public are for each religion; Christianity, Islam and Buddhism, in a various time by link all faith by using ramp which generate sharing and learning each other. Faith Escape is a prototype architecture which can settle down any place in the AEC. Hence, the scheme aims to assemble everyone by using “Faith and Religion” which is a great borderless power to decrease any confliction. At the heart of this project is to create a “consciousness and concentration” to everyone who escape from the discomposure. In each space of this place of worship is meant to be peaceful, mystical but not theatrical, but not prosaic. The layout of Faith Escape which forms also aims to maximize their relationship with its open spaces, opening them up to moments of togetherness which constitute a key element of its life. In each worship space can adjust to serve a large number of user by flexible element. Concrete, Wood and steel are the main material in the program. Wood, a local material in Asian give a sense of warmth, welcome and natural, also reduce solidity of concrete and steel. Due to a period of rite in each religious are differently behaved; space, area, and time are various considerate. In every single activity provide the relationship of their own area to task, which considerate by the behavior relation. Thereby welcoming and sharing each religious principle in Faith Escape.
