WSJ在報導這篇新聞時, 有介紹一個有趣的法律名詞, "act of God" clause(法律條款).
"不可抗力條款(Force Majeure clause) 有時又被稱為「偶發事故條款」(Contingency Clause)，美國學者Morris S. Rosenthal 曾將兩者加以區分，Force Majeure 相當於天災(acts of God)，是指人類所無法控制的自然災害而言，如閃電、暴風、水災、雪崩等，而Contingency則較為廣泛，除天災外，尚包括人禍，如戰爭、封鎖、革命、動員、暴動、罷工、以及火災、機器毀壞等。但在實務上，大多已不加區分，一般契約中所用的Force Majeure Clause 都已包括天人禍的一切偶發事故在內，並且使用Force Majeure 用語的也比Contingency為多。"

如果要說點讀筆可以進行什麼好玩的遊戲，能夠降低某些孩子面對「學習」會自動開啟「抗拒學習防衛心」的保護機制，讓他們以為在玩，卻不知不覺在學，，我想除了 ＃Highlights的英文找找遊戲書 就是不二人選。
　　
上半年KidsRead 與 Highlights 獨家合作推出的Hidden Pictures 第一波那三本英文找找點讀遊戲書，到我家以後已經引起一陣騷動，這種可以「自己跟自己比」、「自己跟自己玩」的找一找遊戲書，不需要手足也不需要爸媽也能自己玩得很起勁。而且這種找找遊戲書就是不玩則矣，一玩不可收拾，會非常專注且沈迷地停不下來呀！

Highlights是美國發行量最大、歷史最悠久且獲獎無數的兒童雜誌，至今已有70多年歷史。雜誌中有一個單元特別受到孩子們喜愛，就是Hidden Pictures（找一找），火紅到他們甚至獨立設計成一本遊戲書。今天要跟大家介紹的，就是KidsRead 與 Highlights 獨家合作推出的Hidden Pictures 英文找找點讀遊戲書，點讀版，讓找一找更好玩！Highlights的Hidden Pictures經由跨領域教育專家指導，結合圖像式學習，可以幫助孩子訓練觀察力與專注力，並且在玩樂的同時，一邊學習英文單字與英文對話。

📍＃適合2到4歲入門：Highlights Hidden Pictures Playscenes 2
與上一輯 Playscenes 2 玩法相似，裡面包含11個主題，每個主題能找8樣物品，所以一整本玩下來小孩至少能學會80個以上的單字。除了尋找物品的單字之外，裡面每個角色人物都有對話台詞，可以學習英語對話，就連目錄頁也不放過。
　　
🖍右下角則是Imagine & Draw自由繪畫，或Make a Match連連看、Find Your Way迷宮的遊戲，可用 ＃KidsRead隨書贈送的無毒水洗蠟筆 或自己家裡的水洗蠟筆作答。由於內頁經過特殊處理，因此只要輕輕用濕紙巾或濕毛巾就能擦拭乾淨，可重複使用一畫再畫、一玩再玩，是否超適合ㄌ野獸派的幼兒！（開箱介紹影片有用濕紙巾擦給大家看）

📍＃適合3到8歲進階：Highlights Hidden Pictures ABC Town ＆ Let's Count Vehicles
　　
喔～這次這兩本我真是大愛，超級喜歡！裡面的插畫風格完全是外貿協會媽媽的菜。
　　
💒【ABC Town字母小鎮】是以字母與動物們的日常生活為主題，總共有6個跨頁=6個小鎮場景，每個跨頁主題將介紹4~5個字母，以及以這些字母為開頭的24個生活用品的單字，下方還有以同字母為首的動物角色，等待孩子們來尋找他們的身影藏在何處。在ABC Town，孩子能接觸到大約180個英文單字，算下來也是很驚人呢！
　　
👉玩法有4種：找物品、找人物、找字母開頭、自由亂點
　　
👉最大特色：這本最讓人驚喜的就是KidsRead的音檔特別錄製說明以該單字為首的字母，例如以Flamingo為例，點選後的問題為：Can you find the Flamingo ? 找到了以後會回：Flamingo, 「it starts with F」。這樣小朋友不只是學習到一個單字，還加深他們的印象，這是以哪一個字母為開頭。其實在國際學校剛開始教英文的過程中，我想許多美語補習班也是這樣。
　　
👉另外，裡面的問句方式很多元，問句也變長，有時候以兩個句子組成，有時候是單字增加深度。KidsRead將每一頁12個物件設計的問題都不同，包括：Where is the...... ? Can you find it? / Have you seen the......? Where is it? / Can you find the...... ? / Please help me find the ...... / Do you know where the ... is? / Please show me the ...... / Can you tell me where to find the ......? / Please spot the ...... / Where can I find the ......? /Let's search for the ...... / I can't find the...... 🚒【Let's Count Vehicles】跟ABC Town是一樣的摺頁變成大跨圖設計，有6個超可愛的跨頁大展圖，題目頁也分三區：數字、尋找物品、問答區，總共大約能接觸到160幾個單字。
　　
👉玩法：找物品、找交通工具、找字母開頭、自由亂點也有單字。
　　
👉Let's Count Vehicles的大賣點，將數字1-20與20種交通工具完美結合，孩子需要找出所有數量的交通工具，邊找邊數。點擊最下方題目區時，音檔會先播放該「＃交通工具的音效🚑」，然後加上問句，例如Can you find 7 school buses? / Can you find 9 trains? 通常一按音效，交通工具迷就已經豎起耳朵，面露興奮笑容了！當孩子點選一台校車，音檔會數 one school bus, two school buses, three school buses... 直到全部數完 7 school buses才會有答題正確的冰崩冰崩音效。
　　　　
👉過程中只要點錯別的車就要重來一遍，超級考驗孩子觀察力與專注力的精確度。所以3~8歲都能來挑戰唷！

📍【 ＃三寶共玩經驗談】
　　　　
✅6歲的哥哥：
我們家哥哥已經快6歲，由於白天上學，放學後還有我幫他上課的安排，自由玩樂時間不像龍鳳那麼充裕，因此休閒時間的選書偏好會變得很強，我也都讓他自由選擇，因為看童書繪本是個樂趣，應該要讓他主動且享受。近來我看過他對一本書專注力最長的，就是在Let's Count Vehicles！

不碰不玩還好，一拿到手開始玩，他就會像走火入魔一樣一直找一直找，最高紀錄玩了整整半小時，就是為了從數字1的1台救護車，找到20架飛機，非得全破他才罷休。中間當然也會遇到卡關，點錯一直重來的困境，但他沒有生氣也沒有氣餒，在經過我的雞婆協助之下，過關以後繼續挑戰，我覺得相當難得，也證明Hightlights Hidden Pictures Let's Count Vehicles的魔力。
　　　　
✅剛滿3歲的小鳳：
相對比較沒耐心的小鳳，我都盡量推薦他玩Playscenes 或ABC Town的找人物，因為比較簡單XD 但他也是很喜歡Let's Count Vehicles裡面的交通工具音效，所以三本都會玩，只不過Let's Count Vehicles他玩找物件的部分還可以，要數到相應數字的交通工具的話，大概只能進攻前兩頁1~10就緊繃，超過11的話她在無人幫助下就非常容易挑戰失敗。
　　　　
✅觀察力較好且較有耐心的小龍：
偶爾會臨幸其他本當休閒，想要專心認真玩的話，他還是都挑Let's Count Vehicles為主，而且特別愛專攻找出所有交通工具的題目！只能說車就是男人的命，無關年齡啊！

📍如果有遇到孩子們對這類型找找書沒啥興趣的，爸媽不妨試試看：
　　　　
1. 家長自玩自嗨，千萬「不要邀約他們」（最忌諱一直塞貨給孩子，欲拒還迎永遠是上策）
　　　　
2.手足或親子比賽也是一種方式，有競爭才有需求！
　　　　
3. 找找遊戲書也有「記憶性」，玩久了都記得位置能全破，當然沒挑戰性就不好玩了，因此可以適時換別的書玩、補新貨、把難度調高等。總之大家多試試吧！

上帝真的帶領我進入了我想都沒有想到的奇妙旅程⋯
在人生下半場 開啟了藝術創作音樂旅程 無論我的身心靈 都在一個全新季節中⋯

在我那一個開朗熱情的性格下，其實很難想像我的生命歷程，一直都在困難挫折當中，甚至有一大段時間是在黑暗低谷裡⋯這也就是為什麼如果有機會在對的時間、時機，我真的很願意敞開自己來分享的原因，這也解釋了我為什麼總是活力十足到處趴趴走辦活動演唱的原因 ⋯，因為走過的必留下美麗的足跡⋯⋯🌹❤️
所有困難黑暗都成了我生命的養分
⋯我很樂意分享以及祝福出去⋯
因為我就是一個被上帝白白祝福，
在生命過程中經歷很多天使幫助的人～我也要這樣白白的給出去～🌹❤️🌹❤️

我曾經有一年，在一個14年的關口裡過不去 ，在那一次幾乎心痛決裂崩潰的禱告裡 ，上帝跟我說不是14年 ～是兩個七年，上帝說我是過了兩個得勝七年 ，但在我眼中我「總是」看自己失敗 ！但在上帝的眼中，祂卻對我說，你是加倍的得勝了⋯你是美好的⋯
（我們總是用很負面的眼光看自己⋯）
在那一次的禱告 裡，祂跟我說祂將會用77這個數字帶領我 ，祂說：耐心跟留意 你會知道明白⋯

後來我真的經歷了這一個77的旅程～

華人總是對4這個數字敏感
但在聖經希伯來原文裡
數字也是有力量有意義的
7代表劍 代表得勝
我感謝上帝讓我經歷這個加倍的得勝、加倍的美好、加倍的能力、加倍的祝福！
最重要的是 上帝轉換了我的意念
跟我的眼光 就是從他的眼光裡看我自己⋯祂造我就是那樣美麗獨特，我透過藝術創作進入深層的自我對話 ，才明白了解「愛自己、認識了解自己」是一件多重要的事⋯如果我不能愛我自己如何能夠把愛給出去！同時也要愛一個人的獨特性，也才能欣賞別人與你不同的地方！真正的愛是彼此成全！在愛裡沒有恐懼！是自由而彼此建造成全！彩虹的美麗不就是七個顏色在一起才美麗嗎？每個顏色那麼不同卻融合的那麼美麗！

重要的是那一個意念，！
每一次黑暗裡 每一次在困難裡 我總是想起上帝說的77
我就安靜下來 問上帝這一次帶領我經歷這一個困難要學習跟經歷的是什麼⋯不再抱怨困難跟挫折
而是學著如何安靜自己的心
面對和學習去解決⋯甚至是更多的經歷上帝的奇妙！

在這個屬於我跟上帝很私密77數字的這一天

在那一個奇妙的時空間
我是如何那樣啟示進到與祂的親密同在裡⋯

I had a year, I couldn't get through at a 14-year gate, and in that almost heart-breaking prayer, God told me that it wasn't 14 years — it was two, seven years, and God said I was double Victory , but in my eyes I “always” see myself fail!But in the eyes of God, He said to me, You are doubled blessed You are double good...
(We always look at ourselves in a very negative way...)
In that prayer, He told me that He would lead me with the number of 77. He said: Patience and attention ...you will know...Then I really went through this 77 journey ~ The Chinese are always sensitive to the number 4.But in the Hebrew text of the Bible
Numbers have power and meaning.
7 stands for the sword ,for victory .
I thank God for letting me experience this double victory, double beauty, double power, double blessings!
And most importantly, God changed my mind...
My vision is to see myself from his eyes... He made me so beautiful and unique. Through art, I enter into a deep self-dialogue to understand that “love yourself, knowing yourself” is What an important thing!!“if I can't love myself, how can I give love out!At the same time love the uniqueness of one person, but also to appreciate others different places from you!True love is to make each other!There is no fear in love!Be free and build each other into full!Isn't the beauty of the rainbow just like the seven colors together?Each color is so different but blended so beautiful!
The important thing is that idea,!
Every time in darkness, every time in difficulty, I always think of what God says.
I quietly asked God this time to lead me through this difficulty, to learn and experience... not to complain about difficulties and frustrations.
It's learning how to keep your heart be still..and Face and learn to solve problem ..even more experience the wonders of God!
On this day that belongs to me and God privately , 77 numbers.
